9pm: Day by day as I work more and
more, I cannot help but notice how far
behind I am in the world of business. I
am utterly financially illiterate. As Alex Hormozi says, between where we are, and where we want to go, there is a divide. Whether we want to make $100,000 this year, $100,000,000 or a Billion, we must contract a bridge. This bridge is made up of little bricks, each little brick is a skill, for example, only learning copywriting alone is not going to get you to $1,00,000. You must learn more skills in your area of expertise and figure out a way to combine them, and then apply them where there is pain in the market and demand for your skillset. This has me a little bummed out as I am already 29, I am thankful for the year and a half pause from work that was unwillingly laid in my lap, to unlearn all the stupidity in my head and allow myself to get on the right track again. My plan for this year is to get a car, return to Uber, while continuing my Onlyfans, and while on the road traveling city to city, consume as much information as humanly possible, I’m talking wherever I feel like I’m heading in the world of business, after I have saved a chunk of money, everything else will be invested into my education, hundreds of thousand of dollars in the long run if need be, as long as I am seeing a return on my investment. Listening to Alex Hormozi on Spotify has also brought up another point, do I even know what hard work is? Sure I was in the Marines, and we slogged around everywhere in gear weighing well over 100 pounds, running up hills, thinking tactically on little sleep exposed to the cold rain on jungle hillsides, hungry, and physically in pain. This was hard work, sure, physical hard work. There is a different kind of hard work involved in working behind a desk, a work I know little about. I have nowhere in my life an example of hard office work, Alex Hormozi talks about one of his first jobs working in a law office with lawyers, and observing how hard they work. I can say that I sit here at my desk all day, however in the grand scheme of things I get very little done. Hard work and focus are skill sets I need to be aware of, and develop. Consistency as well, for without these, there is hardly any point in me pursuing $100,000,000, it would be very unlikely that I succeed. I would like to take Alex Hormozis advice to heart and hire for myself while on the road a therapist or what have you, and have them teach me how to focus. Perhaps 2 hours a day learning how to focus on just one thing, consistency I can try to work on here. I will treat hard work, focus and consistency like the skill sets they are, and starting this week, instead of watching sales videos, focus on these three skill sets. I am currently in the process of identifying skills that i would like to learn, as I’ve mentioned before I would like to learn and immediately apply copywriting, as this seems an absolutely essential skill.
