Late start today, try to work until midnight to catch up on time. Alex Hormozi says it is ok to get off track, everyone gets off track from time to time, successful people just get back on track faster. I’ve yet to solve a way for me to stay on track better, as in having some kind of life plan overview right in front of me, to help me remember why I do this, during those spots of friction during the day where I may feel distracted, or avoiding doing work I don’t want to do.

I’m not going to bother staffing a ship until I’m on the road, when it will become absolutely necessary and I will be able to pay them better. I like the idea of “not managing” of course in certain aspects of a business I would micromanage, but overall I like the idea of “man rules” No set schedule to work, I give you your work, and a deadline. I will trust that you are always connected to the internet whether home or out. You could be working on the beach in the Bahamas, I don’t care, as long as we can remain competitive and you motivated everything is Gucci. I like this idea, though I’ve yet to put it to practice. I’m a resulte kind of guy, you as my employee do what you think you need to do to be productive enough to finish the work I assign and do it well. I expect this idea to fall apart on first contact, and when it does, I’ll try to figure out how to make it work until it does. Also not as related, I’m a big believer in leading from the front, not such a novel idea these days. I won’t ask of you anything that I have not done myself and I will take into consideration that you as my employee may not share my passion in the mission but I will try to make you see the dream, and for you to see your part in this dream, I’m not your manager, I’m your mentor, friend, collaborator.
