wasted my 20s

A tale as old as time, “I wasted my 20s” if I were 20 again, I would feel a lot more comfortable just experimenting, learning from trial and error, play around with drop-shipping, affiliate marketing and what have you, not to say I was not experimenting already. A good few years were spent truly wasting my time, ubering around town, not truly locked in, all I could think about then was getting out of my marriage and being a free man, truly miserable times. With each passing year I felt my potential draining away. During the Marines I ran a little loan business, where I would loan out money with interest attached, after the Marines my first entrepreneurial venture was teaching older people how to use their phone and computer, at the time I was also doing resale. I live in northwest Arkansas, and so a friend and I started an Instagram account, “around NWA” the idea being advertising for this area, the nature locations, the food and people of interest, I had the idea to interview wealthy people in the area and see how they did it, as inspiration for my friend and I and others. These all fell apart a large part due to my addictions, having an incident that caused me to can it all, and move on to just ubering and surviving where I would stay nearly 5 years of my life, accomplishing nothing, hardly growing at all.

It should be said when it comes to Drop-shipping and affiliate marketing, both are introductions to the worlds of product management and advertising respectively. Alex Hormozi recommends the route of affiliate marketing for a beginner, and even better yet, finding the most expensive thing that can be sold on the market and selling it for someone else receiving a high commission in the process. I personally gravitate towards products, so I am drawn to the idea of drop-shipping. These are just gateways, like how forex can be a gateway to investing, what you start out doing will probably evolve over time as you develop your skills and carve out your own personal niche in the marketplace.
